Privacy Policy
ScoreHouse is an app for running a friends' or society golf league: fixtures, scoring, results, a league table and the money that goes with it. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what the app needs to work, we do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why

Where your data is stored
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) in the London (europe-west2) region and protected by Firebase security rules so that only members of a league can read that league's data. Google acts as a processor on our behalf. Google's own terms and data processing terms apply to that hosting.
Who can see what
- Members of a league see that league's fixtures, scores, results, table, ledger and chat, and each member's display name, photo and handicap.
- League admins can additionally edit games and rules, record payments and see the audit log.
- Course data you add is visible to all signed-in ScoreHouse users.
- Nobody outside your leagues sees your golf or money records.
How long we keep it
Your data is kept while your account exists. Results and ledger entries are kept as part of a league's history so that tables and balances stay correct for the other members.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account from More → Profile → Delete Account. This removes your profile, your sign-in and your device tokens, and marks you as having left your leagues. Scores and ledger lines already recorded in a league's results remain under your display name so the league's history and balances stay intact.
- Leave a league at any time from the league's settings.
- Notifications can be changed per type in More → Notifications.
- You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data by emailing richiehope@me.com. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator.
Children
ScoreHouse is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
